Direct Neck and Leg Fit - Check protector measurements
Neck & Leg Protector Sizing Guide
Protective wear has a different fit from full-body clothing. Measure the body area each item actually covers, then check adjustable straps, openings and freedom of movement.
Neck Protectors
Measure the neck circumference where the protector rests, and compare it with the stated adjustable range and protector height. Check whether your dog can move its head and access food and water as intended.
Front-Leg Protectors
Measure leg circumference and the covered leg length according to the product diagram. Check how the shoulder/chest support and connecting straps sit, if the design includes them.
Knee & Other Leg Coverage
Use the measurement points shown for that protector rather than a regular clothing chart. Position pads or coverage panels on the intended body area without restricting the joint.
Adjustment & Monitoring
Fasten adjustable straps snugly but not tightly. Recheck placement after walking and remove the item if it slips, rubs or causes discomfort.
Frequently Asked Question
Is the neck size enough to choose a neck protector?
No. Also consider the protector’s height, adjustable range and whether the style allows your dog’s usual movement.
